Captures in Time

When we arrived home from the hospital, we had the most amazing "welcome baby" gift waiting from Emily & Matt Davison. They had put together a custom newborn portrait package from a photographer in town. I’m not sure I would have thought to schedule a portrait session so early if they hadn’t given us this gift. Melissa Pfannenstiel of Captures in Time photography was fantastic and provided great instructions on how to get those cute, sleepy baby shots. My sister arrived in Kansas City the day before the photo session was scheduled and immediately got to work on knitting a hat (with tiny ears) for Hudson. 


We definitely got those adorable sleepy baby shots we wanted, plus some bright-eyed ones to use for our baby announcements.
